What's Included in a BlueBarrel RainKit?:
Each RainKit® comes with a downspout diverter kit with pre-filter, available in three sizes, unless you choose to omit the diverter for a non-roof-tied water storage system. The diverter kit includes a 31" flexible inlet hose and watertight hose seals. RainKits also include barrel caps, tee-in adapters, plumbing fittings, screened vent pieces, isolation valves, a high-flow spigot, high-flow bottom drain for irrigation hookup, do-not-drink stickers, BlueBarrel decals, glues and sealants, full-color illustrated Installation Instructions, Maintenance & Operations Manual, and password-protected access to BlueBarrel’s DIY RainKit® Installation Videos.
Our online store also lets you choose optional system features and accessories. A few basic tools are required for installation, and you’ll have the option to add them to your order if you don’t already have them. Online product descriptions will help you determine what you need as you step through the customization options.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED: About 2.5' of 3/4" PVC pipe, plus two standard 8x8x16" cinder blocks per barrel for footings. We do not include these items because they are bulky to ship, easy to source locally, and user-customized based on your site layout and foundation design.
REPLACEMENT PARTS: Not all RainKit parts are available for individual sale. Our RainKit Parts menu is in the Accessories section of our online store. It is an à la carte menu of specialty items that RainKit customers may need to replace over time or add as customizations.
Our kitted products are fully supported with detailed assembly instructions. Individual parts are intended for customers who already know what they need and do not include instructions.
REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Please note that our printed instructional materials are high-quality, durable prints and are not available electronically. RainKit customers may purchase replacement instruction packets at the current retail price, plus any applicable tax and postage.
MISSING PARTS: If you believe your RainKit is missing parts, please contact us within 30 days of your order date so we can assist you.
SHIPPING: All RainKits®, Add-On Kits, tools and accessories ship from our fulfillment center in California. We do not offer will-call pickup. Shipping charge does not cover barrel delivery. See barrel pickup & delivery details below. We can ship anywhere in the world, but our website only recognizes addresses in the USA, including territories, and Canada. To ship to other countries, please contact us to place a special order.
MISSING PARTS: Customers must report missing/defective parts within 30 days of order date to receive replacements free of charge. If you believe your order is missing line-items or parts, please check your packing slip against your order confirmation email; or the parts list included with your kit Installation Instructions and send a photo of all items received to info@bluebarrelsystems.com with a list of items you believe to be missing or defective. If requested within 30 days of order date, BlueBarrel will send missing items free of charge after checking our outbound shipping records, or after inspecting for defects.
BARREL PICKUP: Barrels are sourced through our nationwide network of participating barrel suppliers. All barrels are once-used, food-grade, 55-gallon, tight-head poly drums. After purchase, you will receive a Barrel Voucher by email. The voucher specifies the number of barrels ordered and pickup address. Show the voucher upon pickup to claim your barrels. Barrel price does not include a storage fee. It is the customer's responsibility to claim barrels timely. Barrel Vouchers expire one year from purchase date. Expired vouchers are not eligible for refund.
BARREL DELIVERY: Some of our participating barrel suppliers offer barrel delivery services. Delivery offerings and pricing are noted in each supplier's listing in our online store. Your purchase price DOES NOT include barrel delivery. If you opt to have your barrels delivered, you will arrange that directly with your barrel supplier after you receive your purchase voucher. The barrel supplier will charge for delivery service per the terms noted in their listing.

SHIPPED MERCHANDISE: With the exception of items marked "CLEARANCE" in our online store, unaltered RainKits®, Add-On Kits, tools and accessories can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Returned merchandise must be completely intact and in re-sellable condition to qualify for refund. CLEARANCE ITEMS are not eligible for return or refund.
BARRELS: On behalf of our participating barrel suppliers, and as standard for the used barrel market, we maintain a no-return policy on barrels. Barrel sales are considered final from the time of purchase. Barrel Vouchers expire one year from issue date. Expired vouchers are not eligible for refund even if barrels were never claimed. Refund requests for unclaimed barrels must be received within 30 days of purchase date and are subject to approval by the barrel supplier.
REFUNDS: BlueBarrel will issue a refund for any merchandise returned intact, as pre-authorized by our customer service team. Shipping charges are a direct cost incurred and are non-refundable. Please note we cannot grant refunds on RainKits or other products with parts that are missing, altered, or glued.
NOTE: Barrels are sold at a discounted price when purchased with a DIY RainKit®. In cases where a customer returns all RainKit(s) in an order, the barrel price differential will be deducted from any refund, if applicable.
Gift certificates are non-refundable once issued.
RETURNS PROCESS: To initiate a return, send an email to orders@bluebarrelsystems.com referencing your order number and the items you intend to return. For requests meeting the criteria above, we will give you a return authorization with ship-to address. Refunds are processed to the original payment method, promptly after warehouse staff confirm that returned items were received intact.

BlueBarrel, LLC is exclusively an online retail store. We do not offer installation or other site-based services. Our products are designed to be user-friendly for the DIY-er. Installation of a BlueBarrel Rainwater Catchment System® is a beginner-to-intermediate DIY project. Some users may choose to hire a third party to install. BlueBarrel takes on no liability for the work of third-party installers. Concerns related to the quality of installation services should be directed to the service provider.
